Once you complete this course, you’ll have the know-how required to start writing & publishing your own research papers throughout your medical career.
Statistical tools
Learn statistical tools like SPSS, RevMan, CMV and OpenMetaAnalyst. These tools help you complete the data analysis sections of your research paper.
Specialty specific
Training sessions, hands-on research experience, mentorship and LORs are provided by highly experienced specialty-specific US physicians.
CV & application
We’ll prepare you on how to answer research-related interview questions that are common during the residency match process. We’ll also help you prepare your application.
Letter of recommendation
Receive a letter of recommendation from your mentor based on your evaluation. Mentors are specialty-specific US-based attending physicians that are paired up at the start of the program.
Publish your paper
At the end of this certification program you’ll have the opportunity and all the knowledge required to publish your own research paper in a reputed publication.

What kind of research will I be involved in?
The research you undertake could vary between basic science research, clinical-based research or translational research.
How long do projects typically last?
Typically, for an original research project, it takes about 3-4 months to submit and another 4-5 months to get published.
Original vs non-original articles?
Any research study with a clear research hypothesis, research methodologies, data collection, analysis and results is considered an original study, whereas those that lack these characteristics are classified as non-original studies.
Original: observational study, interventional study

Will I receive an LOR at the end of the program?
At the start of the program, you’ll be paired with a specialty-specific US attending physician who will mentor you throughout the research study and evaluate your performance and growth.
The program culminates with you publishing your own research paper and securing an LOR* from your physician mentor.
